The New Forest has 93,000 acres of
woodland and open common-land brimming with wildlife and is the
largest un-enclosed area in Southern England. Ponies, donkeys,
cattle, pigs and deer, to name a few, roaming freely.
The New Forest has been
practically left untouched since the day of William the
Conqueror, a peaceful and tranquil place to visit.
It is truly a place for all the
family, whether you want to visit for a picnic relaxing while
deer and ponies graze around you, or if you enjoy cycling and
taking walks, there are plenty of cycle routes and pathways to
get out and about breathing in the fresh air. |
